Students will investigate the impact that either including or omitting certain elements can have on a scene or entire storyline. By viewing both familiar and unfamiliar examples, students can better understand different literary tools as both a writer and a reader. |

The human body really is an amazingly intricate machine. Primary students will follow Marcus Snarkis as he and his friends travel through the different systems of the human body to chase the germs away so they can play. Intermediate students will learn about each system in the body and how it works both independently and dependently with other parts of the body. |

Molly hosts this exciting competition, explaining the math processes and reviewing skills as students participate. Get your paper and pencil, and put those thinking caps on. The skill level of each session is based on math standards for specific grade levels. Be sure to sign your students up for the game that is appropriate for their level so they will have fun playing. |

Join Matt Stephenson as he applies algebra to everyday life. Students will solve several real-world problems with Matt's guidance and discuss the thought processes used. |

All ages are welcome to both sessions.
Your students can build winter decorations together with Karen and alongside other schools. Teacher can take pictures of the students’ finished decorations and we will put them on our website for students to see. Karen will demonstrate how to make the decorations and show the students actual finished products, but students will be encouraged be creative and put their own twist on the decorations they make.

What can we learn from this community of Sneetches that lived on the beaches? We will meet this group who got so caught up in outward appearance, that they missed out on some wonderful friendships. We will also meet the now rich Mr. McBean who helped them see the light, well kind of….
