Students will love the Japanese Fighter Kites and be enthralled to learn how kites helped us with radio, airplanes and in the military! This passport is filled with different styles of kites, the parts of a kite and even how to build you own! Zoe Ludski reflects on breezy days with her dad who gave her her first kite, as she celebrates National Kite Day with your class!   Through this Journey, students embark on amazing adventures to learn all about sports production. Students will learn how items they use and enjoy, such as baseball bats and softballs are produced. Students will be amazed to learn the amount of thoughtful design and intricate processes involved in creating such items.   Through this tempting Journey, students embark on amazing adventures to learn all about food production. Students will learn how cherries, chocolate, ice cream, orange juice, and potato chips are made.   Can you imagine being in charge of building the Ancient Egyptian pyramids, or designing the tallest building in the world? If you choose a career as an architect, you just may be responsible for building sky scrapers, museums, homes or stadiums!   Molly hosts this exciting competition, explaining the math processes and reviewing skills as students participate. Get your paper and pencil, and put those thinking caps on. The skill level of each session is based on math standards for specific grade levels. Be sure to sign your students up for the game that is appropriate for their level so they will have fun playing.   Matt Stephenson is back and joins students to explain the who, what, and how of personal finance.
