Intermediate and Secondary Students

The human body really is an amazingly intricate machine. Intermediate students will learn about each system in the body and how it works both independently and dependently with other parts of the body. Students will discuss how each system, such as the digestive system, the nervous system, the circulatory system affects their body physically and mentally. Students will also develop an awareness of how their daily habits and behaviors affect the functions of these different systems. An anatomy specialist will lead the discussion to provide information and to answer student questions. Be sure to share the activities and resources that accompany this Passport to allow students the opportunity to apply what they learn.
